Students from l’École St-Joseph are participating in Canada’s Coolest School Trip Contest. We had to present, in a one minute video, a park or a historic site from Parks Canada. We chose the Reserve de l'Archipel-de-Mingan, situated close to our island. Our video must rank among the 10 videos with the highest number of votes from the public to enter the finals and be evaluated by the judges. The grand prize is a one week class trip to La Mauricie National Park and the historical sites of Québec City. A great travel opportunity for young people in the region! Our school being small, we need to get the most possible votes in our surroundings. We therefore call upon you and your contact to help us climb the ranks. We can vote once a day with an email address, for example, with 3 email addresses you can vote 3 times per day. If you do not have the time to vote every day we have set-up an email list of addressess. People allow us to vote on their behalf with their address. The first time you vote you receive a confirmation with the first address used, and then there is no impact on your email account. The addresses are managed by a teacher therefore students will never have access to them. So, if you can please help us to give a chance to students, participate in large numbers, or allow us to participate for you!
If you have any questions or to allow us to vote on your behalf, please communicate with Stéphanie Bourgault : firstname.lastname@example.org

To have a sense of La Tabatière's community life, we invite you to read Gros Mecatina Times, a local paper from La Tabatière containing news and informative articles about Mecatina School and its community.
Under the watchful eye of Ms Geneviève Ménard, our students become budding journalists to reveal through this paper (Entre parenthèses) the activities taking place in Mgr Scheffer School. They will attempt to liven it up with various and interesting chronicles. All articles are written in French. More >>
